Following this, Rebecca Sloan dedicates her time to applying signature editing and color correction techniques to ensure each photo meets her high standard of quality. You can expect to receive your beautifully edited photos within 48 to 72 hours of the event.

What kind of events do you photograph?

Do you travel outside of the Denver area and Colorado Front Range?
Rebecca: Yes! I absolutely love to travel and have been fortunate enough to explore a wide array of destinations. From the vibrant cities of Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and San Diego, the Bay Area, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, as well as Salt Lake City, Mexico City, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Minneapolis and Toronto. I've also had the opportunity to visit the unique charm of Austin, Miami, Atlanta, Nashville, and D.C. Furthermore, I've admired the historical significance of Boston, the energetic pulse of New York City, and the captivating allure of Philly, just to name a few. And I eagerly look forward to discovering even more captivating destinations in the future.
Can we hire two or more photographers?
Yes, having a second photographer is available at an additional cost of $150 per hour. This option can be particularly beneficial for events that are expected to have several hundred guests.
Do you offer video?
Rebecca: I offer B-Roll clips, which are perfect for social media curation. If you’re looking for something beyond that to produce high-quality films and videos tailored for sophisticated marketing campaigns, or should your project require additional expertise, I have well-established connections with seasoned videographers whom I can confidently recommend to meet your specific needs.
Are the photos ours and can we use them?
Rebecca: Absolutely! The photos are exclusively yours to use, and you are granted unlimited rights to them. While my contracts stipulate that the full copyright remains with me as the creator according to copyright law, I readily extend unrestricted usage rights to you. This means you have the freedom to utilize the images across various platforms, including websites, social media, and other promotional channels.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a deposit of 25% of the total package cost is typically required at the time of booking in order to secure your reservation.
When is payment due?
The payment for your photography service is typically invoiced the day after the event. In the absence of any alternative arrangements, it is expected that the payment will be made upon receipt of the invoice. Please note that interest charges will be applicable if the payment is delayed beyond 3 business days. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Do I need to pay for the digital files?
Rebecca: No, my pricing structure is inclusive, which means that the photoshoot fee covers both the session and the digital images. Unlike some photographers who provide a low initial shoot cost but then charge for additional photo packages and digital files, my approach ensures transparency and simplicity for my clients.
How long for photo delivery?
Rebecca: Here at Rebecca Sloan Photography, I deeply comprehend the significance of promptly delivering your event photos for seamless accessibility. My commitment to providing your photos within 48 to 72 hours after your event concludes remains unwavering. Nonetheless, I recognize that certain unique requests and specific requirements may necessitate a more extensive and thorough creative editing process. In such cases, I kindly ask for your understanding and patience, and I assure you that the dedicated editing team is diligently working to meet your needs. As such, I respectfully request that you refrain from seeking updates until the full 72-hour timeframe has passed. Thank you for your cooperation and trust in my services.
What if I'm not happy with my photos?
Rebecca: Photography is a deeply personal and subjective art form. Before booking us for your event or conference, we encourage you to take the time to thoroughly explore our unique photography style on this website. Can I have the original, raw, unedited images?
Rebecca: At Rebecca Sloan Photography, I do not offer unedited, raw images for purchase. My photography services include the editing and enhancement of images to ensure the highest quality and adherence to my artistic vision. If you have specific concerns or requests regarding the editing of your images, please feel free to discuss them with me, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs within the scope of our standard editing process. Thank you for understanding.
How far in advance should I schedule a session?
Rebecca: I suggest considering booking your session 1-2 months in advance to secure your preferred date and time. It's always best to plan ahead to ensure we can accommodate your schedule and make your experience with us as seamless as possible.
What camera do you have?
Rebecca Sloan primarily shoots with a Canon EOS R6 Mark II and a Canon EOS R5, using a versatile range of lenses including a 15-35 mm, a 24-70 mm, a 50 mm prime, and a 70-200 telephoto. Additionally, she has a variety of on and off-camera flash options to maximize lighting control for each unique shot.
Bonus Polaroid photos are available for select photoshoots!
How will I get my photos?
Rebecca: I will send you a link via email to access a digital gallery containing your photos. From there, you can not only download the images but also browse through various printing options available to you. All the photos will be conveniently stored in JPEG format for easy access. Please remember to check your spam folder as well, just in case the email ends up there.
